Knight Anakin Skywalker

*can't bear waiting around anymore* *goes off and finds Mace* *bursts into his office* Why are we still here? Shouldn't we be destroying the Force Harvester? *is agitated and radiating self righteous Ani-angst*

*heads over to Obi's quarters at 0750 and gets there a bit early* *notes that there's no one there or in Qui's quarters* *frustrated look and goes off to the hangar to work on stuff until someone bothers to inform him what's going on* *is in a FANTASTIC sulk*

*is sitting in the Archives at one of the tables with a couple of datapads scattered around* *is propping up his head with his roboclaw and has curls sticking out at random between his fingers*

*ignores the world*

*also arrives back on Coruscant, then arranges for the Actis starfighters (one in green and one in red) to be delivered to the Temple hangar and sends a message to Padme while he's waiting that states he's alive and back but soon to be off again*

*finally finishes work on HK and bundles all of his previous coverings into a storage box and stows it somewhere in his work area*

*has more paperwork and info on the projects as well as a little bio on Ferus*

*packs HK into his speeder and flies to Palpatine's office to deliver it*

*gets back from dallying in space with Padme* *sends Ferus a message*

*eventually manages to get back to Coruscant after his mission* *stumbles to his bed and sleeps for about a day and a half, then showers and starts sending messages to people while scarfing protien bars*

*dresses as respecably as he can manage and tries to tame his hairflips but fails, then goes to make a report to the Council*

*stands in the hangar and debates for a while which vehicle to take to see his Chancellor* *decides to take the yellow!speeder and strokes the engine casing of the bike regretfully*

*flies to the Chancellor's office and waits around to be let in*

*surfs the holonet and takes quizzes*

After OOC!Anakin's party, Anakin brought ten-year-old wii!Padme back to his quarters and put her to bed, giving her one of his tunics to sleep in, in the hope she'd grow into it overnight. He slept on the floor, right next to the bed, in case she woke up in the middle of the night and needed something.

*wakes up slowly, stretching* *peeks up over the side of the bed, hoping to see grown-up Padme asleep in his bed*

*tracks down Qui, looking very windswept and flushed and sparklyeyed*

*hunts around the Temple for him* *doesn't look too carefully in case he's "busy"*

*wanders around the Temple for a while, in search of something fun to do* *finds nothing, so goes and starts doing some katas in the training salles* *gets harrassed a bit by Master Drallig and taught some new katas, and then is left to his own devices* *keeps practicing the new katas in the training salle*

... We need nicknames for each other. It's too weird calling you Anakin.

    Anakin, all nervous about his Knighting, is pacing around his room and fiddling with his Padawan braid. He chews his lip and looks out the window for a while, then sits on his bed, but can't sit still. He stands again and circles his room. After a moment, he rummages through drawers - empty now that he's been assigned his new quarters - then goes through the closet, searching for something he's missed. There's nothing left. He sighs, and leaves his room.
    Obi-Wan is in the 'fresher, straightening his tunics and running a comb through his hair, which hardly needs it. Anakin leans against the doorway of the fresher, watching Obi-Wan do his various groomings.
    "Master Obi-Wan, I'm nervous," he pouts. Obi-Wan smiles proudly at him.
    "There's no reason to be. You've earned this, Anakin." Anakin remains silent a few moments longer.
    "I need a hug." Obi-Wan chuckles, surprised. Anakin hadn't demanded a hug since before his thirteenth birthday.
    "Still as demanding as ever." He pulls his Padawan into his arms and rubs his back. Anakin buries his face in Obi-Wan's shoulder and sighs. For a moment he just stands there, then he pulls away and walks to the window.
    "It's gonna be weird... not living here." Obi-Wan turns off the light in the 'fresher and sits on the couch, watching Anakin. "I'll miss you, Master." Anakin's lip quivers a bit. Obi-Wan sends him comforting waves through their training bond.
    "Anakin, you'll always be welcome here, or wherever I am." Anakin looks back out the window and sniffles. Obi-Wan sighs. "Ani, stop that.  You'll be fine."
    "Master, I know I'll be fine.  You've trained me so well, and all the time I've spent with you has done so much for me.  I worry about things though.  I worry about you."  He fiddles with the buckles on his glove.  "Are you going to take another Padawan?" 
    "I don't know." Obi-Wan smirks.  "After training you and the stunts you get up to, I'm not sure that I could."
    "What do you mean?"
    "Training another Initiate would be... anticlimactic, I think."  Anakin laughs, and Obi-Wan joins him.  "No one else would fling themselves off the tower with some bedsheets and a couple pieces of metal to support him... Force, we're going to be late."  Anakin leaps up and paces until Obi-Wan is ready to leave, then follows him out the door at a respectable Padawan distance.

*frets over Obi-Wan and heads over to visit with Padme*

*heads in, not chiming the door, since it's finally sunk in that he can, and wanders around her quarters until he locates her*

*is sitting on the couch backwards, with his feet kicked over the back of it and his head resting on the floor, reading a datapad*

Obi: *walks in* Anakin, I wasn't aware you were still ... acting as bodyguard to Senator Amidala.

Ani: Hunh?

Obi: *tosses a datapad onto the couch, and Ani sits up to retrieve it* *On it is a small recording of him and Padme at the dance, grinding away and dancing rather naughtily* *With it is a headline that reads: "Naboo Senator and Hero with No Fear: Together?" OMG I fail at headlines.

Ani: *gulps* Er... Yeah. She wanted to go dancing. *lame excuse*

Obi: *knows it* Anakin, we've talked about this. *sighs, sitting on the couch next to him* Your feelings for Senator Amidala are innappropriate for a Jedi.

Ani: *bites his tongue about Obi and Siri and attempts to tune Obi out so he doesn't have to listen to the inevitable lecture* I know, Master, and I've been working on it.

Obi: When? I never see you meditate. Are you still having those visions?

Ani: Not as much anymore, no. Meditating with Master Qui-Gon has helped. *totally lying cuz he only did it that one time and he freaked out*

Obi: *lecturelecturelecture*

Ani: *nods in all the right places, thinks of Padme, spaces out, brings himself back to the present, just at the right moment*

Obi: ... Do you understand?

Ani: Of course, Master. *gets to his feet* I'll be in the training salles if you need me. *wanders off, disappearing off the face of the planet for a while*

*gets into his speeder and drives around the city for a while waiting for her reply, turning up the radio and singing along to the words he knows*
